Mr Stonebowl

You could say our story began in 2015 when we opened our first restaurant in Burwood, becoming the first Chinese stone pot cuisine specialists of our kind in the Sydney area. But, really, our history reaches back far further than this. Mr Stonebowl is born out of a passion for Chinese cuisine – a long-standing love for, and devotion to, the wealth of flavours, textures and possibilities that this cuisine offers. We grew up with these dishes, and now we want to give you the opportunity to enjoy them in the same way. This is what has driven us forward. Since 2015, we have expanded and diversified, adding new locations and new culinary styles to our repertoire. These styles include Shanghai-style dim sum, pan-fried pork dumplings and buns, and the xiaolongbao steamed bun from Jiangsu, and we do our best to bring together a range of different flavours from north and south China.
